Matt's role is truly dynamic. It involves providing a wide range of accounting, financial, and business services to Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs) and other related entities.
A typical day varies depending on the time of the quarter. This could include day-to-day accounting, financial system management, business and process reviews, stakeholder reporting, and developing tailored reporting packages and dashboards.
His favorite part? Collaborating with managers and executives to turn numbers into actionable insights, as well as supporting industry, research organisations and the community.
Outside of work, Matt has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, he loves cooking, gaming, hiking, and catering to his dog’s every need.
While not fluent in another language yet, he has dabbled in French, Japanese, and more, adding a touch of global flair to his skill set.
